This box is primarily used for placing the small round stained glass discs that come with the light torches.  This enables the colour of the discs to be seen if one is working with colour in a darkened room.  The nine stained glass squares that fit the small solarizer also fit the light box and can be used with the light box to solarize quartz crystals or for administering colour to small areas of the body.
