This is the original reflexology torch. It is approximately 19cm long and comprises a battery-operated torch with a nylon head that houses a quartz crystal point. It comes with nine stained-glass discs, each enclosed in a nylon rim to prevent damage, and a carrying pouch to house the torch, discs and batteries. To give a wider spectrum of colour, the head is made to house two discs at any one time.
Other uses for the instrument include treating accupressure and acupuncture points and the chakras along the spinal reflex of each foot.
To treat the reflexes, a stained-glass disc is inserted into the nylon head. When the torch is switched on, the light passes through the stained-glass and floods the quartz crystal with its colour. This colour is then administered to the appropriate reflex, followed by the complementary colour.
